how the quality of your sleep affects your weight?

0 comments | Read more...
This is one article of many that I am going to write to help you with your obesity problems. If you have been diagnosed as being obese, you are in danger of heart disease, stroke and diabetes creeping up on you. Those are deadly killers of both men and women. There are many factors that can contribute to obesity. I am going to address how to help obesity for those who are honestly looking for solutions.

Did you know that the quality of your sleep affects your weight? Yes, it does. Researchers now know that if your body is to become efficient as a fat-burning furnace, instead of a fat-storing furnace, you must have deep sleep each night. Your energy building cells need sleep to recover. If you have poor sleeping habits, this can also affect your health. It is proven that those who are restless sleepers tend to overeat perhaps to make themselves feel better. Also, people are more likely to grab something full of fat grams, if they are too tired to care what they put in their mouth.

Studies have shown that your appetite increases when you are deprived of long-lasting, deep sleep on a regular basis. If you need help with obesity, you may need help with your sleep. By beginning on some kind of regular exercise or regular movement, just stepping in place until you work up a sweat and gradually increase that activity, you will sleep longer and deeper which will in turn, help your body to metabolize fat more efficiently. Work on getting a good night's sleep so that you have the stamina to exercise, even if it is just slow, steady movements at first, until you can work up to a more vigorous exercise routine.

Obesity is a term related to excessive and extreme overweight conditions. This medical condition is very much prevalent in many countries around the world. Because of its prevalence, this condition has become of the greatest challenges among many medical researches and doctors expert in this field. Also, because of the many complications associated with obesity, treatment options have been very limited and the only effective treatment and therapy that doesn't pose any harmful effect is the obesity diet.

The main cause for obesity is improper and poor diet. No one in the world was born obese but because of lack of self-discipline and control over the thousands of delicious food available, the problem that starts from being overweight eventually leads to obesity. The key to any type of diseases is to treat the root and stop the cause. What more could be effective in this disease but start a very effective obesity diet.In planning for obesity diet, one should follow some very important pointers. Basically, the most dangerous culprits in ruining ones diet are the fats and sweets. There is nothing wrong with eating these types of foods when you do not have weight problem. However, to obese people, fatty foods and sweet foods play a very big role in the deposits of calories in the body.

Carbohydrates are the types of foods that need to be burnt and converted into energy. However, obese people find it very difficult to increase mobility and do rigid exercises to burn the fats because of extremely heavy weight and inflexible muscles. If this is the case, the only way an obese person can do is to minimize the amount of foods rich in carbohydrate or the best would be to take them away from the obesity diet.
The third best thing to be included in your obesity diet is a food with bitter taste. This food should be half-cooked or eaten raw to maintain and retain the juices that will be responsible in helping melt away the fat deposits.

An obese person may drink tea or coffee as much as he can but there should be lesser sugar or a more effective way is to drink the coffee black. It will also help best if an obese person will avoid carbonated drinks such as soft drinks and energy drinks. If you are already weighing more than the ideal, think twice. You wouldn't want to suffer from the bad effects of obesity. Moreover, if you are already considered obese, you should go to your doctor and ask for an advice about which effective obesity diet will work best on you.

It use to be just material for an anecdote that we had as a classmate an obese child or teenager and we may get along with those in that conditions very well as some other people may even make jokes at them and do some bad things. But the fact is that it was just a few people being obese and that's why they called our attention by being kind of different.

But those days are long gone. Child obesity is no longer the characteristic of a few children but it has become an extended condition that is affecting an important percentage of the youth population in America and many industrialized countries. It is widely documented that obesity is a big threat to the health of our children in many ways.

For example:

- It affects their cardiovascular system
- It can affect the lungs
- Posture and bone mal formation during the growing period can result from being an obese child
- There can also be Gastrointestinal problems cause by obesity

But why is that our children are becoming so obese at a record rate? The answer, as you may already know, comes directly from the high consumption of calories, and where do these calories come from? They mainly come from junk food, particularly the excessive consumption of junk food against more healthy and natural food options. However that's not all, junk food may be the primary cause but there is a second and equally important factor that has helped to spread the obesity pandemic among our youngsters.

This is the dramatic absence of physical activity in many cases of obese children, due to long hours in front of the tv playing video games or simply watching tv programs. This doesn't mean that we should confiscate all video games and throw the tv out the window but all things must be done wisely and not in excess. We all must remain ourselves that we have a body too and that it needs maintenance and activity to function in optimal conditions. Specially children and youngsters that are in the growing stages of their physical development and can't forget about their bodies.

Fat? How Badly Obesity Can Cause Damage To Our Body

An unhealthy lifestyle can have a negative impact on your well-being. Unfortunately, most people do not care nor do they pay much attention to it. People prefer to eat fast food which contains very little nutrients in it, instead of healthy home cooked food. It cannot be denied that sometimes fast food products taste more delicious than normal home cooking. However, they are made with unhealthy ingredients which can do damage to your body. The one thing that you can get from eating fast food too much is obesity.

When we talk about obesity, we always talk about how badly obesity can cause damage to our body. Obesity can lead to various health problems and ailments. Not only that the excessive consumption of food makes you gain weight, but it also increases the risk of developing life-threatening diseases.

Cardiovascular disease is one of them. When people consume too much fast food, bad cholesterols can pile up in their body. These cholesterols will block the main arteries leading to the heart and it can trigger a heart attack. Other life-threatening diseases that can be caused by excessive food consumption are diabetes, collapsed lung, sleep apnea, bone stress, and even some forms of cancer.

When you are obese, your body is unable to form a strong resistance against harmful organisms. Therefore, you can catch diseases easily since your body is unable to protect itself from viruses or bacteria. Being obese does not only increase the risk of developing health problems, but you may also suffer from social stigma. People with obesity are sometimes judged by the way they look.

Obese people have always been victims of cruel jokes and pranks. People who receive these treatments usually feel like an outcast of their society. In most cases, obese people is considered by many people as unattractive, hence it is possible that finding a partner will be a difficult task. Furthermore, a study shows that obese people tend not to be satisfied with their sex life. This dissatisfaction may lead to a social ineptitude. This is one of the reasons why obese people usually have relationship problems.

Fortunately, obesity can be prevented. And for some lucky and committed people, it is curable. If you want to stay healthy and to feel welcomed by your society, you need to change your lifestyle. Adapt healthier habits; start eating right and start exercising frequently if you want to be fitter and happier.

Fat Loss Factor 4 Idiots

Weight, health and fitness are closely related to each other. In fact, 'lose weight fast and safe' is the mantra of this generation. But then also obesity rules supreme in almost all the continents. The nutrition coordinator for Strong and Healthy Oklahoma remarked, "Obesity can cause more than 30 chronic health conditions...". Thus, improving your health and fitness through losing weight has become more commonplace now-a-days as people have become increasingly conscious about harmful effects of overweight on their overall health. Some of the obesity health risks which you should consider as you try to lose weight fast and safe are:

Overweight and high blood pressure

-Around 70% of people who are suffering from high blood pressure are obese. People who do not gain weight with age are also not prone to increase their blood pressure. If you have high blood pressure and you contact a physician, the first thing he will suggest is that you lose weight. Therefore, weight loss will prove to be very helpful for you if you want to get rid of your high blood pressure.

Overweight and heart diseases

 - Obesity also affects your heart. Actually, being overweight, having a lot of abdominal fat, and obesity directly increase your risk of getting diabetes, which is also considered to be a major contributor of heart disease. Therefore, losing weight fast, naturally, and safely also decreases your risks of getting heart diseases.

Overweight and blood cholesterol

 - One of the adverse effects of being overweight is that your cholesterol levels are affected unfavorably. Basically, body cholesterol levels are made up of several types of cholesterol including HDL, which protects the heart and LDL, which increase heart disease risks. As far as your health and fitness is concerned, your aim should be to increase HDL and decrease LDL. When you gain weight, you tend to have the reverse effect on your blood lipids. With each increasing pound you generally decrease your HDL (your good cholesterol) and increase in LDL (your bad cholesterol), thus adversely affecting your cholesterol levels.

Overweight and diabetes

 - Diabetes is known to be a direct result of obesity. According to researchers and experts, it has been found that if adult obesity and weight gain is eliminated, around 80% of diabetes cases would not have taken place. Not surprisingly, one of the immediate treatments for diabetes is losing weight.

Overweight and cancer

 - Recent studies have found that obesity health risks are at its extreme point. More than 20% of all the cancers are associated with obesity and overweight. It has been proven that obesity increases the risks of developing breast cancer after the menopause, mainly because the body fats produce hormone the hormone estrogen.
By considering all these factors, we can conclude that obesity is seriously hazardous to the overall health and fitness of human beings. We must agree that weight loss is very important for the prevention and treatment of heart diseases, heart failure, diabetes, high blood pressure, unhealthy blood cholesterol, and several other chronic diseases.
The best thing you can do in your life is to achieve and also sustain weight that is appropriate for your height and level of fitness. Once you increase your weight too much or you become obese, you can put your health and fitness at serious risk. Never think that a little gain in weight can be tolerable, you should try to lose it even if you have gained as little as five pounds.
